Sensations by Compliments Egg Nog

Our local grocer has decided it is time to kick off nog season even before Nogvember, and thats okay by us.  Our first nog review is the Sobey's premium house brand, Sensations by Compliments Egg Nog.  I like to consider five noggy factors when reviewing an egg nog.  Look, sweetness, consistency, spice, and overall attention to nog craftsmanship.  I rate each factor from one to five.  One being poor, five being excellent.

LOOK
A little to yellow for my nog liking and no visible spices.

SWEETNESS
It's not terribly sweet, but it's the first thing you will notice when you begin to enjoy.

CONSISTANCY
It has a smooth, silky pour into your chalice that you've come to expect from a premium egg nog.
I prefer a thicker nog, but this offering is made for the masses.  It will please them.

SPICE
Very little attention paid to the spice component of nog.  Mostly just sweetness.

NOG CRAFTSMANSHIP
Will do in a noggy pinch.  Do you have civilians coming over for a holiday get-together?  This will work.  Do you have an upcoming nog tasting or nog festival?  You should find something else or risk your reputation.
